Job summary

Fresh Consulting in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sr. Engineering Technician to join our design-led hardware and software teams.

The role focuses on assembling, testing, debugging and reworking compact electro-mechanical systems, including fine-pitched soldering and custom cables, in a fast-paced environment. You will operate and debug automated test systems, manage lab space and vendor relationships, and help develop build and debug procedures for prototypes while maintaining safety and meticulous

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, debug and rework compact electro-mechanical systems including fine-pitched soldering and custom cables.
• Operate and maintain electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs and spectrum analyzers.
• Develop and maintain build and debug procedures for prototypes.
• Operate automated component test and data collection systems.
• Engage and manage fabrication vendors to deliver components and PCB/PCBA parts.
• Manage lab space, equipment, supplies and inventory.

Title: Sr. Engineering Technician

Duration: Long term position

Location: Redmond, WA

Responsibilities

• Assembly, test, debug and rework of compact electro-mechanical systems including fine-pitched soldering, small scale paste/reflow; custom cables and adapters; sub-cm
• Experience usingand maintaining electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, spectrum analyzers and standard-specific compliance testers
• Develop and maintain build & debug procedures for prototypes
• Operation and debug of automated component test and data collection systems
• Engage and manage fabrication vendors to deliver components, PCB/PCBAs, metal/plastic parts for prototypes
• Manage lab space, equipment, supplies, inventory

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range $40/hr - $45/hr.
