Providence Health & Services is seeking a full-time Electronic Technician for the Portland Service Area. The role involves installations, repairs, and safety inspections of electronic and mechanical systems.
The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree in Electronics and possess 5 years of relevant experience. This position requires strong collaboration within a team and will contribute to ensuring efficient operation with minimal downtime.
Full‑time day position supporting the Portland Service Area.
As part of the facilities department, an Instrumentation Technician performs installations, scheduled maintenance, repairs, calibration, and safety inspections of electronic, mechanical, information, and communication equipment and systems. Work assigned ranges from moderate to advanced in difficulty, may require specialized and/or advanced training. The Technician works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and coordinates work with other caregivers within the department. The Technician prioritizes duties to ensure a minimum of operational downtime and maximize the efficient use of equipment. Some work may be performed by contractors under the supervision of the electronics technician.
