Day And Zimmermann in Parsons, Kansas is seeking a full-time Electronics Technician to join our team. You will install, test, startup and maintain electronic systems, troubleshoot, and work from drawings and specifications in a demanding industrial environment.

The role requires reading schematics, PLC proficiency, and good communication. A high school diploma with 3 years of experience and a valid driver's license are expected, along with a willingness to meet physical demands of the job.

Qualifications

• 3 years prior experience in electronics or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests and starts up new electronic systems and maintains existing ones.
• Performs calibration of electrical and electronic devices and test equipment.
• Reads blueprints, drawings and specifications for maintenance and repair.
• Installs and repairs cable systems including network wiring and communication cabling.
• Assembles support structures, conduits and labeling as required.

This position pays $29.56 per hour!

We’re looking for a full-time, Electronics Technician to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas.

As the Electronics Technician, here’s the work you’ll do:

• Installs new electronic systems, test and startup new systems. Maintain and troubleshoot existing electronic sytems, including preventive maintenance.
• Performs calibration of electrical and electronic devices and test equipment.
• Work with blue prints, technical drawings and written specifications in the maintenance and repair of electronic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair cable systems. Involving network and device communication to include CAT 5/6, fiber, coaxial. etc.
• Install various support structures, including cable jacks, j-hooks, ducting, conduit, labeling etc.

• High School and/or equivalent.
