Job summary

A well-known oilfield services company in Grand Junction is looking for an Electronics Technician to join its Repair and Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on all equipment, assist mechanical technicians, and ensure the integrity of the electrical and electronic systems. Competitive hourly rates between $24.00 to $39.00 depend on experience. Benefits include health and dental plans, paid vacation, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in electrical and electronic systems in oilfield environments.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all Calfrac oil field equipment on site.
• Assist mechanical technicians in repairing electrical problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis.

Job description

The Electronics Technician will be a member of the Repair and Maintenance Department responsible for assisting and supporting the maintenance staff. Reporting to the Electronics Supervisor, the Electronics Technician will focus on performing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on all Calfrac equipment.

SCHEDULE:

• Fifteen (15) days on, Seven (6) days off
• Stable hours and Overtime available

COMPENSATION:

• $24.00 to $39.00 an hour, depending on experience

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repair and maintain all Calfrac oil field equipment on site, which includes:

• Electrical and electronic systems
• Recording and control software
• Assist mechanical technicians in repairing electrical problems
• Updates and modification requests
• Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis
• Identify problem areas

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years oilfield electronics maintenance required
• Field troubleshooting and multi-meter experience required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

EXTENSIVE TRAINING:

• Every new hire will attend company Orientation and Training School (OaTS)
