Job summary

Canada's Wonderland is seeking a part-time Electronics Technician to install, maintain, and repair sound systems and electrical components. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma/GED, vocational training is preferred, and must have at least two years of electrical systems knowledge. Responsibilities include repairing various audio equipment, maintaining in-park public address systems, and installing audio/video equipment. Responsibilities

  • Repair background music system.
  • Monitor and maintain in-park public address system.
  • Repair and maintain all equipment as needed.
  • Repair microphones and audio equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain systems of electronic mobile games.
  • Record speech, music, and sounds.
  • Convert video and audio record to digital formats.
  • Install audio, video, and lighting equipment.
  • Set up and tear down equipment for events.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical systems

Overview

Salary details based on experience: $25/hr.

Job Status/Type: Part-time

Position Level: Entry to Mid-Level

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

The electronics technician installs, maintains and repairs sound systems and other electrical components throughout the Park. Provides technical assistance in general electronic maintenance as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Repair background music system.
  • Monitor and maintains in-park public address system.

  • Repair microphones and other audio equipment as assigned.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain systems of electronic mobile games park wide.
  • Record speech, music, and other sounds recording equipment.
  • Convert video and audio record to digital formats for editing.
  • Install audio and video equipment and lighting equipment as needed.
  • Set up and tear down equipment for events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Vocational training preferred.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 250 ft.
  • Must have at least 2 years knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Must have a basic understanding of electronics circuit of design installation and maintenance components related to the electrical field.
  • Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written.
