Electronics Systems Maintenance Technician, Senior- PNT PSS

Position Details

• Full Time, Ft. APG, MD
• Secret clearance required
• This position is contingent upon contract award

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex system failures, develop preventive maintenance programs, train less experienced technicians, identify systemic failures, and conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering.
• Manage the development of junior technicians.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of support equipment across field sites, troubleshoot and repair systems, and perform software updates.
• Install, modify, wire, fabricate, and maintain systems.
• Distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.

Qualifications

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university, preferably in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology; four additional years of experience can substitute for the degree.
• 10 years of experience testing electronic equipment, with at least 8 years in testing and troubleshooting electronic subsystem installations in military systems.
