Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a part-time Retail Display Installer for Stony Brook, NY. You will visit major retail stores to install and maintain electronics displays, following provided diagrams and instructions. A driver’s license and personal vehicle are required, with paid training and a bi-weekly pay schedule.

The role accommodates up to 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or evening shifts. Welfare benefits include a 401(k) plan with company match and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Comfortable working independently and with a small team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Store visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory.
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
• Travel: Up to 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday; 8:00am–5:00pm; no weekends or evenings.
