FRSTeam CrossTimbers DFW is seeking an Electronics Restoration Technician to inspect, clean, test, and restore electronics damaged by fire, smoke, or water. You will document findings, disassemble/reassemble gear, and ensure safe handling throughout the restoration process.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with electronics repair, circuit boards, and diagnostic tools, plus strong attention to detail and teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with ability to work on electronics.
• Familiarity with computers, electronic devices and basic hand tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and document work performed.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate electronic equipment for damage and restoration potential.
• Professionally clean and restore electronics affected by contaminants.
• Disassemble and reassemble electronics for cleaning and restoration.
• Perform basic diagnostic testing to determine functionality.
• Document equipment condition, testing results, and restoration steps.
• Photograph, inventory, and track customer electronics throughout the process.
• Identify equipment unsafe or beyond repair requiring specialist evaluation.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and restoration systems.
• Assist with packing, handling, transport, and storage of electronics.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Follow procedures to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
