Job summary

Asset LifeCycle in Topeka, KS is hiring a Technician 1 to support refurbishing and securing data on laptops, phones, and PCs. This role offers a strict Monday–Friday schedule with a day shift from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm CST and no weekend work, plus comprehensive training to build your skills.

You will process equipment, enter details into our in-house database, assist with parts harvesting, and help the team meet daily quotas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of different hard drives and memory types preferred.
• Willingness to complete a security clearance if assigned to mobile device processing.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process, refurbish, and harvest parts from equipment (laptops, PCs, mobile devices) including swapping drives and memory.
• Perform data erasure and resets on laptops, cellphones, Mac, Android, and Windows devices.
• Test and recover components for reuse and assess condition with our software tools.
• Enter equipment details into the in-house database and move inventory as needed.
• Master processes and procedures with ample opportunity for skill development.
• Hit quota/goal targets and support team with other tasks as assigned.
