Arrow Electronics (Converge) is seeking a Component Quality Inspector I in Peabody, MA, to support the distribution center and laboratory. The role involves inbound/outbound inspection, data entry, and ensuring accuracy of shipments.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and proficiency with MS Office. ESD environment equipment and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in quality inspection or distribution environments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Verify items against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
• Extract and count items from staging racks for packaging and shipping.
• Affix shipping labels and identify shipping information on cartons.
• Perform inbound inspection of electronic components using basic inspection tools.
• Enter inspection results using Excel-based checklists.
• Unpack, inspect, reject damaged items, record shortages, and coordinate with shipper to rectify issues.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Process orders and log inventory entries in PC systems.
• Create shipping labels for outbound shipments and review shipping documents.
• Accept additional responsibilities as assigned.
