Job summary

Arrow Electronics' Converge in Peabody, MA is seeking a Component Quality Inspector I to support receiving, inspection, and shipping in a fast-paced electronics distribution center and lab.

The role requires 2 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and basic MS Office skills. You will stand/walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in an ES D environment with safety gear.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Must have strong attention to detail for written documentation.
• Able to follow written directions.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Reading, writing, and understanding of English.
• Standing/walking for long periods; heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• ESD environment awareness and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Compare quantities and verify items against records for incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Extract items, count, and verify packaging and shipping accuracy.
• Affix shipping labels and process outbound shipments.
• Perform inbound inspection of components using basic inspection tools.
• Enter inspection results on Excel-based checklists.
• Review documents and log inventory; route items to proper departments.
• Support compliance of shipments and assist with duties as assigned.
