Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions Company, in Salt Lake City, Utah, is hiring Receiving Quality Control Inspectors to join a brand-new high-tech facility. You will inspect electronic and mechanical components, perform various inspections, and document results to ensure products meet strict quality standards.

New hires will undergo 4–6 weeks of hands-on training in Los Angeles before transitioning to the Salt Lake City site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of electronic, mechanical, or manufacturing quality inspection experience.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, microscopes, or multimeters.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic and mechanical components.
• Inspect cables, connectors, GPS devices, PCB assemblies, mechanical enclosures, and other manufactured parts.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, functional, and fit inspections.
• Perform First Article Inspections and verify materials meet engineering specifications.
• Use calipers, micrometers, microscopes, multimeters, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical drawings, and product specifications.
• Identify defective or nonconforming materials and communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, Production, and Purchasing.
• Document inspection results, maintain traceability records, and enter quality information into computer systems.
• Support corrective actions, quality investigations, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection environment.
