Job summary

Central Semiconductor LLC, an AEM company based in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a QC Inspector to join the QC Team. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, with structured training provided to the right candidate.

You will perform inspections on electronic components and materials to ensure conformance to specifications, set up and run ATE programs, visually inspect for defects, verify dimensions, and document results. Safety and inventory processes are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Quality Control Inspection experience with electronic components preferred.
• One year certificate from technical school or 1-2 years of college preferred; ISO9001:2015 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections in accordance with departmental procedures and work instructions.
• Sets up and runs test programs on automatic test equipment (ATE), and checks for ATE correlations.
• Visually examines products to detect defects such as incorrect markings, improper orientation, packaging, or blemishes.
• Verifies conformance of products to dimensional specifications using measuring instruments.
• Records results of inspections in the system and prepares inspection reports identifying approved/rejected quantities.
• Observes safety rules and maintains inventory integrity.
