Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Quality Inspector to perform visual and electrical inspections and tests on production products and subassemblies. You will develop knowledge of electronic components, perform test set-ups from drawings, and accurately document all inspections and test results on QA forms.

You will also interpret bills of materials and engineering docs, troubleshoot defects, collaborate with Quality Engineering, and assist other departments with repairs as needed on

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; prefer a technical degree or previous electronics experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and electrical inspections and tests of products and subassemblies.
• Develop knowledge of electronic components and measuring equipment.
• Set up electrical equipment from drawings using measuring instruments.
• Accurately document inspections and tests on QA forms and logs.
• Advise Production Supervisor of test-related issues.
• Interpret BOMs, test procedures, and drawings.
• Perform simple troubleshooting and document defect info on Failure Reports.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to resolve test fixture issues.
• Support other departments by diagnosing and repairing units or boards on the production floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
