Job summary

ClifyX is seeking a Program Manager to lead multiple projects from award through 90 days after SOP in the automotive space. You will ensure progress toward customer specs, timing, and budget while communicating status to stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in program management for engineered products, and experience with automotive lighting/electronics is preferred. This is a 12+ month contract with emphasis on cross-functional leadership and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management experience with engineered products.
• Multiple product launch experience in the automotive industry as a Tier 1 supplier.
• Bachelor's degree in technical field or ten years of Project Management experience.
• Automotive lighting and/or electronics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership in directing a cross-function team from concept to launch.
• Meet project deliverables and ensure all requirements align with the SOW.
• Effectively communicate project status and proactively manage risk.
• Act as primary interface to customer for all project issues.
• Maintain project costs within the baseline budgets for BOM, tooling, and investment.
• Develop and maintain project timing charts to meet milestones.
• Establish countermeasures when deliverables are at risk.
• Initiate and publish the program open issues report.
• Build and manage an effective team.
• Capture lessons learned and best practices from each project.

Job Duties

• Provide technical and project leadership in directing a cross-function team from concept to launch
• Meet project deliverables and project all requirements. Full knowledge of customer SOW and requirements
• Effectively communicate project status and proactively manage risk
• Acts as primary interface to customer for all project issues

• Initiate the review of lessons learned/best practices of other programs and document new ones from each project.
• Supports internal and external cost cutting requirements.

Other duties as assigned

• The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005.
• The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) as stated in CQAM.00001 - Corporate Quality Manual.
