Job summary

SUNY Niagara seeks a qualified adjunct for the Electronics Technology program. The Part-Time Electronic Technology Instructor will teach courses on SUNY Niagara's Sanborn campus and participate in program support across face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities.

The instructor will advise students, assess learning outcomes, and complete required administrative duties, with courses including Principles of Electricity I and II, Digital Systems, and PLC Programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering technology or closely related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on industry experience in electrical, controls, instrumentation, or automation.
• Ability to supervise a hands-on lab safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Teach in face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities as needed.
• Provide student advisement and assess learning outcomes; complete required administrative duties.
• Develop course materials, syllabi, and assessments aligned with program objectives.
• Maintain compliance with SUNY Niagara policies and reporting requirements.
