Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Machine Operator I – Electronics Manufacturing for the 2nd shift to operate and monitor automated PCB production equipment. You will read assembly prints, set up and run solder paste stencil machines, and help ensure smooth production flow on the line.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior electronics manufacturing experience is a plus, and IPC-610 knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain certifications on assigned equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic solder paste stencil machines.
• Monitor machinery during operation to ensure smooth production flow.
• Identify quality, material, or process issues and communicate with appropriate personnel.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and production equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and machinery.
• Assist with production line changeovers.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Identify electronic components and part numbers using cross-reference tools.
• Follow ESD and company safety procedures at all times.
• Support additional production duties as assigned
