Job summary

Europastry USA is seeking an experienced Electronics Mechanic to troubleshoot and perform major mechanical repairs on-site, including motors and refrigeration rooms, to maximize equipment uptime. The role requires coordinating with other mechanics and training staff as needed for timely repairs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electronics mechanics, an undergraduate degree or equivalent, and strong knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, and industrial controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as electronics mechanic.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with PLC, VSD and industrial controls.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical tools and machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical components; plan repairs.
• Read manuals, OEM docs, and electrical drawings; document work.
• Communicate with OEMs to resolve technical issues.
• Work with AC/DC voltages; replace motors, VFDs, sensors, and control devices.
• Log work orders in CMMS MP2 and maintain records.
• Follow OHSA, GMP, and safety procedures at all times.
• Operate forklifts and maintain a safe work environment.
