Army National Guard Units is seeking an Electronics Mechanic (WG-2604-11) in Pennsylvania to inspect, test, repair, align and troubleshoot a range of electronic, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic assemblies on combat and tactical equipment including M1 and M2/M3 vehicles and MLRS systems. A Secret clearance is required, and duties include maintaining maintenance records and performing related tasks.

Qualificações

• Experience performing functional tests and troubleshooting electronic/electrical systems.
• Ability to read and maintain maintenance records and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform functional tests, analyze performance and malfunctions, and repair electronic, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic assemblies within combat and tactical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair launch pods/containers, trainer rocket simulator modules and missile-related components.
• Use test equipment (test sets, meters, oscillators, etc.) and hand/power tools to locate faults at component, circuit, or system level.
• Maintain maintenance records and perform other duties as assigned.

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D1205000 and is part of the PA Combined Support Maintenance Shop East, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electronics Mechanic, WG-2604-11, you will perform functional tests, analyze performance and malfunctions, remove, install, test, maintain, modify, perform alignments and troubleshoot the electronic, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic assemblies modules, and interconnecting cables of a variety of combat and tactical equipment to include the M1 series main battle tank, M2/3 series Bradley fighting vehicle, Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), TOW Missile System and the ATACMS Launch Loader Module (LLM).

Troubleshoot and repair launch pod/container (LP/C), trainer rocket simulator modules, Missiles/Launchers Pod Assembly (M/LPA), trainer missile simulator modules, and various like items.

Use various types of test equipment to include systems test sets and stand such as AN/GRM-122s, frequency meters, standing wave indicators, oscillators, ohmmeters, voltmeters, resistance bridges, and signal generators to localize trouble by component unit, by circuit within a component, and by element of a circuit. Use special and common hand tools, power tools, and gauges to make intricate repairs.

Perform administrative functions in establishing and maintaining maintenance records on equipment maintained or repaired. Perform other duties as assigned.
