This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D1204000 and is part of the NJ CSMS 1, National Guard. The primary purpose of this position is to perform field and sustainment maintenance and repair on moderately complex electronics equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC, WG-2604-10, you will: Repair or replace chassis mounted components. Isolate and diagnose cause of circuit/component malfunction. Conduct inspection, diagnose nature and extent of equipment malfunction. Perform initial and final checks and may perform inspections when required on equipment being repaired. Inspector on a Command Maintenance Evaluation Team (COMET) on electronic, automation, communication, and equipment.
