Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to set up and maintain production lines for repairing and upgrading returned customer products, while supporting technicians in diagnosing electronic systems in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

You will lead the setup of new line equipment, design and maintain test fixtures, troubleshoot failures, collect data, and mentor operations staff to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of new production line equipment for testing, repair, and upgrades.
• Assist in designing and maintaining test fixtures and systems.
• Troubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis on electronics returns.
• Collect repair data and maintain repair records and databases.
• Provide feedback to product teams regarding design corrections and trends.
• Develop and document troubleshooting and repair protocols.
• Perform repairs on returned devices following safety and quality standards.
• Assist technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electronics.
• Mentor operations and repair technicians.
