Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Urbana, Ohio seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to drive electronics process improvements across PCB assembly, screening, and final testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production flows, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions that improve product reliability and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working on-site, you will apply knowledge of electronics circuits, components, and testing

Qualifications

• Completed entry-level experience or internships in electronics engineering or related technical fields.
• Foundational knowledge of electronic circuits, components, assemblies, and testing methods.
• A growth mindset is required to learn new skills and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, optimization, and implementation of electronics-related production manufacturing processes including pick and place, surface mount, aqueous cleaning, wave flow, select solder, X-Ray inspection, oven curing, masking, conformal coating, Ionograph testing and final inspection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot electronic assembly issues and implement corrective actions; partner with production teams to ensure smooth integration of electronic components and systems into manufacturing workflows.
