Job summary

Standard Bots in Glen Cove, NY is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer who bridges design and production to ensure PCB assemblies are manufacturable, reliable, and cost-effective. You will review layouts, footprints, and fabrication packages before release and own SMT/PCBA processes on our in-house line or with contract manufacturers.

This role drives DFM/DFA feedback, establishes test coverage, improves yield, and coordinates NPI handoffs from prototype to volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in electronics/PCBA manufacturing engineering with hands-on SMT experience.
• Proven DFM/DFA expertise with real PCB design feedback and shipped boards.

Responsibilities

• DFM/DFA reviews of PCBA designs and release packages with clear feedback.
• Own SMT/PCBA process engineering, reflow, paste, placement, AOI, and rework.
