SUMMARY: WinTec Arrowmaker, Inc. is a defense contractor dedicated to providing outstanding program management, engineering, logistics, and operations support to Department of Defense customers. TheElectronics Maintenance Technician II will support maintenance including repairing, troubleshooting, modifying, and installing various types of electronic equipment and related devices for the RCS. TheElectronics Maintenance Technician II shall provide work for tasks that include the Voice Tactical Monitoring (VTM) for SINCGARS which monitors and records the tactical voice communications of the rotational unit and the Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs) to meet SAR objectives; while reporting directly to the RCS Lead and the WinTec Program Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Apply technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment to its normal operation and applying skill in repairing equipment and evaluating performance and reliability once repairs are made.
- in-depth knowledge and skills in the following:
- ETA Basic Electronics Certification IAW ISO 17024 standards.
- Ability to use tools and test equipment to troubleshoot a circuit down to component level.
- Experience with Microsoft office.
- Ability to express facts and rationale.
- Ability to stoop, bend, lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Experience using Digital Multimeter, soldering tool, Power supply, battery tester, and multiple hand tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as necessary.
- Perform electrical and mechanical adjustment, remove, and replace failed components, and make repairs on equipment.
- May be required to travel to remote sites via helicopter when required.
- Install and uninstall RCS systems in vehicles as required.
- Cross utilize to provide surge assistance to MILES install TESS repair when require.
- Maintain items under warranty IAW terms of the warranty and identified by part number, serial number, and location in the ISTS.
- Capture Unique Item Information (UII) or other 2-Dimensional (2D) standard barcode information.
- Configure, initialize, and perform function check of RCS, VTM, and tower locations, ensure component systems are interoperating IAW technical specifications, and verify the function and operation of a device via TADSS operator and maintenance technical manuals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in electronic technology (or equivalent) and three years’ experience in a related discipline, with 3+ years of related military training, or a combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years’ experience performing the following: Configure, initialize, and perform function check of RCS, VTM, and tower locations, ensure component systems are interoperating IAW technical specifications, and verify the function and operation of a device via TADSS operator and maintenance technical manuals.
- 3+ years’ experience performing the following: Track and analyze RCS components, parts consumption, maintenance trends, maintenance labor cost drivers for life-cycle analysis and reviews and categorize the device component life cycle (i.e., not functional, major risk, minor risk, and no issue).
- 3+ years’ experience performing the following: Implement a DMSMS and obsolescence program (e.g., establish a database to manage component and repair part obsolescence, assess component availability, alert the Government of DMSMS and obsolescence issues, and provide recommendations to resolve issues).
- 3+ years’ experience performing the following: Capture RCS, VTM user feedback and participate in the coordination and management of user interviews, audits, and surveys; all feedback shall be made available in the ISTS. Perform Target Battery testing, replacement and installation on all solar towers. PMCS and verification of RCS, VTM systems. Assess, repair and replace cables and associated hardware for RCS vehicle installed systems. Assist with MILES installation and removal when needed for rotations.
- Have the assured and sustained ability to work in a foreign country including, but not limited to immigration documentation, health status, duty in support of military requirements.
