Job summary

Rocket EMS, a PCBA manufacturer, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to store, control, and issue electronic components and materials to production. You will ensure accurate part numbers, lots, and traceability in our ERP/MRP system.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, familiarity with barcode scanners, and collaboration with Production Control, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of stockroom, inventory control, material handling, or warehouse experience.
• Experience pulling materials for work orders and preparing production kits is preferred.
• Familiarity with bill of materials, lot and date-code traceability, and packaging is preferred.
• Knowledge of ESD controls and moisture-sensitive device handling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Store and organize electronic components, bare PCBs, hardware, and production materials.
• Pull components for work orders using BOMs, pick lists, and kit requirements.
• Prepare complete material kits for SMT, through-hole, and other areas.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, lot codes, date codes, and traceability before issuing materials.
• Record receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and location changes in the ERP/MRP system.
• Maintain stockroom organization, labeling, and segregation of inventory.
• Follow FIFO and inventory-rotation requirements and handle special packaging as needed.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing to resolve shortages.
• Ensure a clean, secure stockroom environment and comply with safety procedures.
