Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking detail-oriented Technician I (CSAT Integration Electronics) in Midland, TX. You will assemble, test, inspect, and support production of electronic satellite communications assemblies, following drawings, ICDs, and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electronic assembly, familiar with harness dressing, and able to lift up to 40 pounds. Relocation assistance is available for eligible applicants; overtime opportunities may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronic assembly preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in electronic assembly and harnessing, preferably in aerospace.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and work instructions; lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform harness dressing, routing, lacing, shielding, and clamping of cables.
• Assemble electronic components following ICDs and installation drawings.
• Read schematics and installation drawings; follow work instructions.
• Ensure IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA STD-8739.4, and quality standards compliance.
• Use torque drivers, wire strippers, crimps, heat guns, and harness boards.
• Document work and report non-conformances to engineering/QA.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and integration teams to resolve issues.
