Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a detail-oriented Technician I (CSAT Integration Electronics) to assemble, test, inspect, and support production of electronic satellite communication assemblies in Midland, TX. Will follow drawings, ICDs, and quality standards, with emphasis on ESD controls and precision work.

Role requires 2+ years in electronic assembly, ability to read schematics, and lifting up to 40 pounds. DOE pay and 4x10 schedules offer overtime opportunities and potential shift variations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in electronic assembly and harnessing, preferably in aerospace or satellite manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and ICDs.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform harness dressing per ICDs and installation drawings.
• Assemble electronic components (boxes, heaters, RTDs, connectors) per interfaces.
• Follow electrical schematics and work instructions.
• Maintain IPC/WHMA-A-620 and NASA standards.
• Document work and report NCRs.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and integration teams.
