Job summary

Cornelis Networks is hiring a talented Electronics Hardware Engineer with extensive experience in system and PCB development. The engineer will be involved in all aspects of electronic design from conception through end-of-life of the next generation Cornelis Networks Fabric platforms.

This on-site role at our Wayne, PA campus collaborates with software, mechanical, and marketing teams to deliver robust platform-level architectures, select components, and drive designs into production with

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of Platform/test card design and bring-up in lab.
• Strong digital board design, basic signal integrity, schematic capture tools.
• System level debug and root cause analysis.
• Experience with lab equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and marketing for platform-level architectures.
• Develop system/board architectures to implement products.
• Evaluate and select components to support design goals.
• Produce engineering documentation.
• Develop design files (schematics, FPGA code, source) to implement designs.
• Support board layout and integration with software.
• Assist system test and product qualification.
• Support compliance and regulatory testing.
• Coordinate cross-department to move product into production.
