Clarios is seeking an Electronics Functional Safety Engineer to lead safety analyses and hardware design for advanced BMS systems in lithium-ion batteries. You will work within the Advanced Battery Core Electronics Team reporting to the Global Electronics Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities include executing FuSa analyses, defining hardware requirements, and validating safety through V&V plans. Strong collaboration across software, mechanical, and system engineers is required.
The Electronics Functional Safety Engineer (FSE) is a design and development role within the Advanced Battery Core Electronics Team that reports directly to the Global Electronics Engineering Manager. This important role provides technical leadership within in a team environment to design and develop requirements driven functionally safe electronic circuits as part of the Battery Management System (BMS) that goes into Clarios’ new generation of lithium-ion batteries. The electronic BMS is critical to the performance and safety of the battery. As a member of this team, you will be exposed to the latest in BMS technology and contribute to developing “best-in-class” electronic battery controls.
