• 5+ years of engineering people leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on background in analog, mixed-signal electronics and PCB design.

• Strong understanding of electrical architecture, hardware integration, testing and qualification.
• Ability to stay technically hands-on while leading a growing engineering organization.
• Experience with high-reliability electronics is preferred.
• Space, avionics, aerospace, defense, medical device, or advanced technology experience is highly relevant.
• Startup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and grow the Electronics Engineering team.
• Own the electronics architecture for reactor control systems.
• Lead analog and mixed-signal PCB development from requirements to manufacturing and qualification.
• Guide development of low-noise analog front ends, sensor interfaces, high-speed data conversion, communications, and signal-processing hardware.
• Define requirements for noise, accuracy, environmental performance, reliability, thermal constraints, and interfaces.
• Own acceptance and qualification testing for custom PCB designs.
• Lead failure analysis, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and design improvements.
• Partner with Controls, Embedded Software, Electrical Systems, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams.
• Lead design reviews and communicate technical decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership and executives.

You’ll have real design authority, executive visibility, and ownership across the full hardware development lifecycle — from architecture and requirements through PCB design, bring-up, qualification, and field operation.
