Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies invites applications for an Electronics Engineer (various levels) in Alexandria, VA. You will develop specialized hardware from embedded boards to COTS integration for intelligence community and military customers.

You will work across motion control, high-speed data, RF, and PCB development, contributing to mission-critical systems while advancing your technical leadership and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess at a minimum an active US Secret clearance.
• Hands-on experience in schematic capture (Altium Designer or equivalent E-CAD tools) and PCB layout.
• Ability to interpret electrical documentation, including schematics, data sheets, one-lines, and cable drawings.
• Proficiency with standard electrical test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, electronic loads, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, firmware, and cabling.
• Solid understanding of core circuit design concepts including first-order circuits, DC-DC converters, component selection, and analog filtering.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver advanced hardware solutions for Intelligence Community and Department of War projects.
• Lead PCB design, cable harnessing, and electrical system architecture across diverse platforms.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet schedule, cost, and performance goals.
