Job summary

Bruker in Washington State is seeking an Electromechanical Assembly and Test Engineer to support production of world-leading Electron Microscopes. You will build, test, and debug high voltage electronics and hardware, and work with documentation and vendor networks to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires an AS or BS in electronic engineering, 0–4 years of experience, ability to read schematics, basic soldering, and comfort with oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Qualifications

  • 2- or 4-year degree in electronic engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience level 0–4 years with BS or AS preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand analog/digital circuits.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and debug high voltage electronics and hardware
  • Create and/or improve assembly documentation
  • Document and improve test procedures
  • Work closely with vendor network to support outsourcing
  • Provide service engineers with field support
  • Occasional travel to installation sites worldwide, less than 10% time

The Bruker AXS-EM division is looking for an Electromechanical Assembly and Test Engineer to support production of our world-leading Electron Mircoscopes.

Qualifications
  • 2-year AS or 4-year BS degree in electronic engineering or similar.
  • AS with 2-4 years of experience or BS with 0-3 years of experience
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits.
  • Ability to solder at a basic level, if needed further training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with computers, oscilloscopes, multimeters and other everyday equipment.
  • Ability to work with assembly instructions as well as update them as needed, and cheerfully help and support co-workers.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $70,200 and $125,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
