Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space Waterton facility in Colorado is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join a team delivering PaCE electronics hardware for NGI. You will participate in design reviews, lead production/test efforts, and help generate End Item Data Packages for certification.

The role requires 5+ years in analog/digital circuitry, MRB experience, and a DoD security clearance. You will work under senior engineers on mission-critical hardware in a full-time, in-office setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in development and production of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitry.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integration and test of PaCE test hardware.
  • Provide technical oversight for flight test operations.

  • Discrepancy resolution.
  • Failure Investigation and Root Cause Corrective Action implementation.

We are looking for a creative Electronics Engineer to join an exciting and dynamic team integrating, testing and supporting production of flight avionics.

Location

This position does not support teleworking. You will need to live near our Lockheed Martin Space Waterton facility and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?

Lockheed Martin is approaching the production phase of the U.S. Army’s premier kinetic‑energy missile‑defense system NGI. Electronics Engineer Stf (E4) is an individual contributor on the PaCE electronics box supporting the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program. You will assist in completion of qualification followed by supporting hardware production and test. Work is performed under the direction of senior engineers and is focused on delivering hardware deliverables on schedule. This role blends production support, test failure support and End Item Data Package preparation for mission critical hardware.

Key Activities You Will Accomplish In This Role

To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Need

  • Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
  • Experience in launch vehicle or missile systems.
  • Supporting electronics production including solving build and test issues
  • 5+ years’ professional experience

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience in development and production of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitry.
  • Experience supporting product acceptance testing and requirements verification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus a US Citizen.
Desired Skills
  • Experience in launch vehicle or missile systems.
  • Experience as an Electronics Product Engineer in efforts to certify avionics hardware, and its interfaces to other systems, as ready for flight.
  • Supporting electronics production including solving build and test issues
  • Proficiency with end item hardware development.
  • Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
  • Supporting both system and subsystem integration test execution, including environmental and ground testing.
  • Has demonstrated proficient presentation skills and associated presentation tools.
  • Knowledge of subsystem/system requirements and process.
  • Material Review Board (MRB) experience.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and wiring schematics.
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Mentor Graphics, ORCAD, Zuken or comparable drawing package.
  • Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
