Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards and methods.
• Expertise in development testing and evaluation for weapon systems and subsystems.
• Broad knowledge of integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment.
• Understanding of planning, program management and acquisition regulations.
• Ability to develop innovative approaches to resolve complex issues impacting policy.
• Strong clear communication skills, both written and oral with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and their operational impacts.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional electronics engineering work across acquisition, cybersecurity, DCO, and sustainment.
• Designs and develops prototypes, models, and criteria for evaluation.
• Plans experiments and technology assessments to inform strategic concepts.
• Develops policies and reports; briefs on technical findings.
• Advise management on system trade-offs and program directions.
• Represent the organization at workshops; coordinate with industry partners.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of civilians, military, and contractors.
