Job summary

The Department of the Army is seeking an Electronics Engineer (CASIE) for Fort Detrick, MD. This CIVILIAN position is part of the Army Fellows Program and uses Direct Hire Authority for Certain DoD personnel.

Starting salary ranges from $57,736 to $133,142 per year, with opportunities for training and rotational assignments. As an Electronics Engineer, you will perform supervised work, with increased responsibilities at the full-performance level.

Qualifications

Must be a US citizen.
Bachelor's degree in engineering with ABET accreditation or equivalent coursework.
One year of specialized experience in electronics design/development or related field.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of electronics devices, equipment or systems using established criteria or specifications.
Assist with providing guidance and/or technical oversight on the design of local area networks or wireless LANs.
Identify electronics engineering problems and recommend corrective action.
Review technical electronics engineering project design documents, computations, and submittals.
Prepare technical electronics engineering reports and studies with proper format and completeness.
Serve as a contributing team member during survey, installation, and testing of operational systems.
