Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of electronic fundamentals.
• Complete operational tests of electronic end items and SRUs.
• Ability to use complex electrical and electronics test equipment.
• Apply electronic shop theory, practices and procedures to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational checkout and diagnostic troubleshooting of SRUs and end items using Engineering procedures.
• Maintains accurate records of work performed using proper forms.
• Typically performs assignments requiring advanced technical knowledge of electronic principles.
• Diagnoses malfunctions using extensive internal circuitry analysis and coordinates with engineering.
• May recommend changes in test equipment or procedures based on test results.
