Job summary

United Radio in the United States is seeking an electronics technician to diagnose and repair electronic modules using multimeters, schematics, oscilloscopes, generators and test equipment.

You'll perform SMT soldering as needed, document findings, update software, and follow United Radio procedures while upholding core values. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; a 2-year degree or electronics training preferred.
• CET certification is a plus.
• Experience with electronics repair is beneficial.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose problems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electronic modules per United Radio procedures.
• Some SMT soldering of chip components may be required.
• Document findings and report them to manufacturers.
• Perform data integrity and clerical duties related to repairs.
• Perform software updates as needed.
• Promote and adhere to United Radio's quality systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
