University of Kansas is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer (EDE) in the Instrumentation Design Lab (IDL) within the Department of Physics & Astronomy. The position begins as early as February 1, 2027.
The role requires strong background in analog/digital circuit design, embedded C/C++, GUI design, PCB layout, high-speed data acquisition, and FPGA/CPLD implementation for scientific instrumentation. Candidates should have a minimum of three years in engineering research, with 6 months in the
High school/GED and 5 years related experience OR Associate's degree with 3 years related experience OR Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related experience OR Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
At least three years' experience in an engineering research related occupation, including 6 months of experience working with the following:
