Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Electronics Component Engineer to manage BOMs across multiple product lines and ensure component availability throughout lifecycles. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2–8+ years in component engineering, hardware design, product development, or lifecycle management.
• Experience with PLM, CAD, and BOM management tools.
• Familiarity with RoHS/REACH and counterfeit detection standards.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain BOMs across multiple product lines.
• Support design teams in selecting reliable, cost-effective components.
• Test and qualify new components to verify performance, environmental, and electrical requirements.
• Read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and BOMs with high accuracy.
• Lifecycle & obsolescence management: monitor lifecycles and identify EOL parts.
• Coordinate with design engineering and contract manufacturers to implement component changes.
• Counterfeit component management: testing programs and authenticity determinations.
• Maintain AVL/ACL in PLM systems; work with procurement to mitigate single-source risks.
