Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment is preferred.
  • 6 months of experience using automated test systems.
  • Understanding of basic metrology concepts preferred.

Overview

Electronics Calibration Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled electronics technician with a strong technical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and repair instruments and systems returned for service and repair, typically in areas such as service support and metrology. The role involves troubleshooting to the component level.

Responsibilities
  • Perform calibrations with various primary standards and M&TE per prescribed work instructions.
  • Prepare required documentation and maintain associated records.
  • Convey data and trends on product calibrations to the appropriate person or department to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate unusual product issues to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain all standards and M&TE.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, make repairs, resolve technical problems, and perform maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to the service center by customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Associates in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience, or a BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or another technical degree.
  • Troubleshooting experience from school or hands-on work.
  • Understanding of basic metrology concepts preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Good attitude, meticulous, and works well in a team setting.
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed.
  • Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment is preferred.
  • 6 months of experience using automated test systems.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards.
Work Environment

The position offers one opening for the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm, and another for the 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 2:30pm-11pm. Training will occur from Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm, for approximately two months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Washington

Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
