Overwatch Imaging, an imagery intelligence technology company founded in Hood River, Oregon, is seeking an Electronics Assembly professional to build optical and electronic components, cables, and assemblies while following technical drawings and LEAN processes. You will also perform internal quality checks and maintain meticulous production records.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, collaboration with engineering and QA teams, and adherence to safety standards in a venture-backed startup

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• IPC certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or work instructions.
• Familiarity with electronics assembly, tools, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble optical and electronic components using hand tools or power tools.
• Assemble cable harness assemblies.
• Follow technical drawings or work instructions.
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections.
• Record data from quality checks and report deviations to supervisors or QA.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to meet 5S/lean manufacturing standards.
• Complete production logs, batch records, or digital tracking systems.
• Report any defects, delays, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain accurate records for inventory and material usage.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives or lean manufacturing events.
