Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembler in Lockport, NY for a 6-month contract to support the assembly and testing of electronic circuits and components. The role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach within the production department.

The candidate will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm with some overtime, and will gain experience in electronics assembly and testing in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics required.
• Completion of the AE technician test.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Proficiency in soldering and mechanical assembly.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform various production assembly tasks following ISO practices.
• Maintain fixturing, perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of circuits and components.
• Document test results accurately and efficiently.
• Set up calibration, testing, and troubleshoot circuits and components.
• Ensure quality standards are met through detailed inspection and testing.
