Job summary

TMD Staffing is hiring Electronic Assemblers in Hockley, TX for an in-person role. Pay rate is $16 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

As an Electronic Assembler you will assemble devices, work with small components, solder as needed, inspect quality, and follow safety procedures. Candidates with electronics experience are preferred, but those willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous electronic assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Soldering experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with small components and perform detailed, repetitive tasks.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn for candidates without previous electronics experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small electronic devices and components according to instructions and specifications.
• Work with small parts, wires, connectors, circuit boards, and other electronic components.
• Perform soldering and basic rework as needed.
• Use hand tools and basic electronic assembly equipment.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Perform basic testing of assembled devices.
• Follow safety and ESD procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet production and quality standards.
