Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to read measuring equipment (tape measure, ruler, caliper).
• Able to work independently with good mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and basic assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, or solders parts to join and secure them using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
• Mounts assembled components on chassis panel or in place.
• Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes wires between components using bonding procedures and equipment.
