Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in West Caldwell, NJ, is seeking an Electronics Assembler II to perform assigned assembly tasks and inspection in accordance with military and IPC standards, using drawings and instructions. The role involves collaboration with manufacturing teams and continuous improvement activities.

The candidate will have 2–5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Oracle, Teamcenter, QMS, and Excel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; soldering certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years in related field or equivalent training.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting production or engineering drawings and instructions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams; knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks including component prep and inspection; operate equipment and support engineering builds.
• Create documentation, tickets, NCRs, and close work orders accurately.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality, and leadership to resolve issues and determine operation sequences.
• Train and mentor new employees; support continuous improvement via CBS tools (5S, KPIs, Standard Work).
