Job summary

Nelson Miller Group is seeking an Electronics Assembler to join our Fitchburg, MA site. The role focuses on assembling, testing, and maintaining electronic components and sub-assemblies with attention to detail under supervision.

The successful candidate will have soldering experience, read schematics, and operate measurement equipment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and on-time production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; 2–3 years related experience preferred.
• Soldering experience required; IPC certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment; ability to read work instructions and schematics.
• Proficient with microscopes, test equipment (multimeters, etc.) and soldering techniques.
• Must have good English reading, writing and comprehension; able to work under supervision.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
• Use microscopes and electronic test equipment to meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and assembly processes.
• Perform soldering, wiring, and use hand and pneumatic tools.
• Maintain accurate production data and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, ESD-safe workstation; follow safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and across departments for continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
