Job Summary

The Electronics Assembler II performs electronic and electro-mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment. This role requires hands‑on experience with electronic assembly, hand soldering, technical drawings, and detailed work instructions. The successful candidate must maintain an active IPC J-STD-001 certification and demonstrate strong attention to quality and detail. This is a full‑time, 100% onsite position with no travel or telework.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform electronic and electro‑mechanical assembly operations.
• Assemble components, modules, panels, cables, and related hardware.
• Perform hand soldering and component installation.
• Read and follow technical drawings, diagrams, work instructions, and other documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Perform basic inspections and continuity checks on completed assemblies.
• Complete rework, modifications, and repairs as required.
• Maintain quality and production standards in a structured manufacturing environment.
• Support training related to specialized assemblies as assigned.

Job Requirements

• 1+ year of electronic assembly and/or hand soldering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Active IPC J-STD-001 certification.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, diagrams, and detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High school diploma or GED.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre‑employment screening.
• Experience with electronic or electro‑mechanical manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with soldering rework or repair preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems or electronic work instructions preferred.
• Experience working in a quality‑controlled production environment preferred.

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of electronic assembly and/or hand soldering experience in a manufacturing environment.
