Job summary

Centurum is seeking an Electronics Assembler (Depot) in San Diego, CA. The role involves supporting overhaul and repair of C4ISR systems, assisting engineers with electronic assemblies, and performing on-site installation and calibration checks.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent C4ISR or other relevant experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation and deinstallation of electronic systems, equipment, components, antennas, cables, cableways, waveguides, and ducts, while using logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes.
• Micro Miniature (2M) “C” school or IPC-A-610/620 certification.
• IPC J-STD Soldering Training Certificate.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is desired

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the overhaul and repair of various C4ISR systems and equipment. Performs technical tasks to assist engineers with electronic systems. Supports efforts to plan, procure, fabricate, remove, install, and complete all mechanical and electrical work efforts. Performs equipment removal, cabling, connectorization, electrical equipment installation, equipment overhauls, fabricating and assembling electronics subassemblies, and calibration checks on electronic instruments. Experienced with using electronics hand tools, microscopes, soldering and de-soldering equipment. Experience in reading assembly instructions and drawings. Provides on-site installation support. Updates technical documentation. Continues to develop working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures, including safety procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Compensation: $23 - $32 an hour.

Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
