Electronics Assembler job at TAD PGS, Inc.. Annapolis Junction, MD.

We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for an Electronics Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Annapolis Junction, MD surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $34.00

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electronics Assembler to lead the adaptation and integration of Israeli radar systems for the U.S. defense market. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling cutting‑edge radar technologies, ensuring they meet U.S. defense specifications and requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assembles, tests, and repairs precision electro‑mechanical equipment used in computers, electronic instruments, radar, missile controls, and similar electronic systems, following blueprints, diagrams, and verbal and written instructions.
  • Reads blueprints, schematics, and technical orders to determine methods and sequence of assembly operations.
  • Solders and bolts electrical and electronic components in the specified location on the assembly.
  • Connects wires to specified terminals following diagrams, wire lists, and color codes.
  • Verifies dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications.
  • Measures parts to verify conformance to specified tolerances.
  • Measures the diameter of holes and other dimensions of housing assemblies.
  • Fits parts together and installs them in housings and aligns parts to ensure smooth operation of mechanical parts.
  • Test operates electrical and mechanical assemblies and adjusts controls to synchronize operation.
  • Tests assembled electro‑mechanical equipment to locate defects, using functional test instruments.
  • Dismantles equipment and replaces worn or defective parts to repair malfunctioning equipment.
  • Installs equipment, such as motors, power supplies, and control and sensing devices.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics assembly.
Desired Qualifications:
  • IPC‑610 Certification.
  • IPC‑620 Certification.
  • J‑STD‑001 Certification.
  • Experience assembling radar systems or other defense electronics.
