Job summary

A leading company in electrical and electronics manufacturing is seeking an Electronics Assembler A for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components, ensuring a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety regulations. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, two years of experience in electronic assembly, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Preference will be given to candidates with soldering and ESD certifications.

Position details and salary range: $23.92 - $35.88 per hour, generally starting at $25.00 per hour. Salaries depend on skills, experience, and market considerations.

What You’ll Do

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assemble and solder electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies, including military and commercial parts for clients such as Vertex, Gulfstream, Raytheon, and Boeing. Support soldering needs across focus factories. Report to the Production Supervisor/Manager in Skydrol.

Essential Functions
  • Assemble and repair Surface Mount and Through-hole assemblies.
  • Crimp and solder connectors; desolder as needed.
  • Perform lock wiring, safety wiring, and mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies.
  • Interpret blueprints and instructions.
  • Visual inspection and defect management.
  • Cross-train as required.
  • Potting components and housings.
  • Use hand tools such as air drivers, crimpers, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and soldering tools.
  • Follow operational procedures and ensure tooling calibration.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including coverage in other production areas.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience in electronic assembly manufacturing.
  • Reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Must comply with ITAR regulations (U.S. persons only).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Soldering certification.
  • 2+ years in aerospace assembly.
  • Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) certification.
  • Experience in FAA environments.
